Spotlight: Dependable sort who's been in career-best form with a win and two seconds this season; raised another 2lb but can show up well again after his two big runs at Musselburgh (pipped by Letsbefrank latest); highly respected.

Spotlight: Three wins (C&D, 1m6f and 2m1f) in summer 2024 and, from a reduced mark, back on the scoresheet at Musselburgh (1m4f) three weeks ago when arriving very late on the scene at 20-1 under Lauren Young to deny Fast Fred; back up 4lb but could take another step back up the ladder.

Spotlight: 1m3f Flat and 2m hurdle wins last autumn on first two runs for Gavin Cromwell but pulled up one month ago on handicap hurdle debut when wearing tongue-strap and cheekpieces for the first time; the latter are not retained on this first run for new yard (same owner); could have more to offer on Flat.

Spotlight: There was an extraordinary turnaround in her fortunes late last year and she was better still when winning from the front in a 12-runner race at Musselburgh (1m1f, good) on return to turf three weeks ago; with earlier AW wins over 1m2f and 1m4f, this step back up in trip does not look a worry and going up another 4lb may also be manageable; major player.

Spotlight: Usually races prominently but came from the rear, having fluffed the start, for one of his two 1m4f wins last summer; he'll need better than he's produced this season but is back to his last winning mark.

Spotlight: 4-27 at Hamilton, which has dominated his itinerary but he also has two wins elsewhere; made a respectable return to Flat over C&D two weeks ago under Lexie Clarkson and could build on that to get seriously involved.

Spotlight: Raced at 1m this season, for a good fourth on reappearance but well-beaten second favourite here next time; this is a rethink on trip but a C&D third last June and 1m2f win last September are encouraging.

Spotlight: Won three times over 1m2f under 7lb claimer Jake Dickson last August/September; progressive overall in that campaign and needs respect if she's sufficiently tuned up for this reappearance; market may guide.

Spotlight: Can get a bit worked up and not that consistent but he still won last summer at Ayr (1m2f) and Carlisle (1m1f) and ran creditably over 1m4f on final outing; no show at 33-1 for recent reappearance when a hood was enlisted, which it isn't today; competitive if this is one of his good days.

Spotlight: Went close more than once for Harry Charlton but left that yard an eight-race maiden and she's not threatened to put that right in three runs for new yard; has tried cheekpieces and now has tongue tied for step up in trip.

Spotlight: Won handicap debut at Windsor (heavy) in September and creditable fifth at Yarmouth (good) next time, both over an extended 1m3f; left Ed Walker for 32,000gns later in October and behind on both runs (1m4f; 25-1 and 28-1) this season, so seems best watched for now.

Spotlight: Seven-race maiden when trained by Johnny Murtagh in Ireland, placed twice as a 2yo; sold for 3,000euros in November 2024 but had only one run for current yard, when fourth of six at Thirsk (1m4f) last June; not beaten far that day but others bring more solid claims.
