Spotlight: Won over 1m at Dundalk on the first of two starts at two for Halford/Collins team last winter; okay runs for current yard in turf handicaps this term, soft ground may not have been ideal last time; remains relatively unexposed and has to be considered.
Spotlight: Ready Gowran maiden winner in 2023 (7f, good) but missed all of last year; solid efforts on latest two runs this term in 1m handicaps at Naas and Leopardstown (raced wide latter occasion); one to consider from a good draw.
Spotlight: Improving 3yo since being fitted with blinkers; on a hat-trick here following 1m wins at Leopardstown (winner won since) and Cork earlier in the month; up 8lb for latest but hold-up performer could well have more to come.
Spotlight: Progressive 5yo was just denied at Leopardstown in March before going one better over this trip at Cork following month, winning with a bit in hand; gelded since and returns from a break off 8lb higher mark but yard going well and likely big player again under talented claiming rider.
Spotlight: Curragh specialist with six of eight wins coming here, although none over this far; both recent runs here leave him with plenty to find.
Spotlight: Three wins last season included two at Galway; yet to hit form this campaign and may need a bit more time; wants easier ground too.
Spotlight: Decent juvenile maiden form but way below best on seasonal return in two runs this term, keen and not looking to stay 9.5f on handicap debut at Gowran latest; cheekpieces worn latest now discarded and back in trip.
Spotlight: Dual AW winner over a mile and back to form over C&D in May, coming from well off the pace after a slow start under today's rider when fourth of 20; similar scenario at Leopardstown since and patience wearing a bit thin at this stage.
Spotlight: Five-time AW winner gained first turf victory over C&D last month off 64; slow to break and keen when never landing a blow off this mark at Leopardstown since but not one to rule out from a good draw.
Spotlight: Narrow winner of 7f handicap on good ground here in April but held since off revised mark; back to just 2lb above that winning mark now so not one to rule out although 1m stretches her.
Spotlight: Cork apprentice handicap win last month (1m, good) under today's rider came off 70, just okay runs twice since; cheekpieces now tried and more needed but rider's claim a positive.
Spotlight: Maiden has struggled a bit in handicaps so far over longer trips, having been made plenty of use of at Fairyhouse last time; tongue-tie now discarded and drops in trip.
Spotlight: 0-10 for Henry de Bromhead, going close on several occasions including at Dundalk early this year; tongue-tie tried on handicap and yard debut.
Spotlight: Won a Fairyhouse claimer last September, just okay handicap efforts afterwards; ran well until squeezed out early in straight on recent Leopardstown comeback and entitled to come on for that.
Spotlight: AW maiden winner and ran a cracker in the Irish 2,000 Guineas in 2023 but hasn't repeated that form since although solid run in Naas Listed last year; reappears for new yard off much reduced mark (23lb below career-high) and interesting to see if new yard can exploit it.
Spotlight: Both wins have been over longer trips, including 1m4f on AW in January; stiff task on penultimate over C&D from out of the handicap so drop in class to suit but others preferred.
Spotlight: Rapid improver when a triple AW winner over 1m2f early in 2024 but didn't transfer that form to the turf last summer; seems best watched on seasonal return after 11 month's absence.
Spotlight: All three wins have been at 1m2f on much softer ground; of limited appeal.
Spotlight: Won 7f Galway maiden last summer (yielding) for Tom Mullins; struggled in handicaps though entitled to come on for recent Leopardstown effort.
Spotlight: All seven wins on AW and off 440 days until recent yard debut when never sighted in first-time hood at Fairyhouse; best watched for now.

Plenty with chances, notably Refreshment, Instant Appeal and the potentially well-handicapped Quar Shamar, while Empress Artemis remains a potential improver. However, there could well be more to come from GENUINE JIM, gelded since his Cork win in April and from a yard having a good run. [Alan Hewison] Show less
